Ren

Ren means “lotus”, and it is in the purity of spirit associated with that flower that the head chef approaches his cooking. Enjoy dishes such as wild vegetable shabu-shabu and grilled, unpeeled bamboo shoots in the spring, hamo in the summer, chargrilled matsutake in the autumn and matsubagani shinjo in nimono soup in the winter. The young chef’s hospitality is memorable.
