Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongiten

A branch of ‘Sukiyabashi Jiro’, this is run by Takashi Ono, second son of the world-famous sushi master, Jiro Ono. At lunch, the omakase set consists of 15 items, with 20 at dinner. It starts off with white-fleshed fish and moves to ingredients with more and more flavour, including squid, tuna, chu-toro and o-toro. The vinegared gizzard shad clears the palate of the fatty taste of tuna. The restaurant is a favourite of customers whose priority is nigari.
