Kikunoi Roan

Owner-chef Yoshiharu Murata has run Kikunoi with his brother for many years. The counter seating on the 1st floor has a lively atmosphere; the 2nd floor has tatami and tea rooms served by waitresses in kimonos. Expect dishes like, for example in winter, a dumpling made from lily bulbs topped with black truffle paste, and wild boar meat and Kyoto vegetables served nabe-style with sake lees.
