The owner-chef expresses the season by way of the ingredients, his serving dishes and the presentation. In spring, the tsukuri comes on a dish with flower petal artwork, and egg tofu shaped like cherry blossom is an ingredient in the nimono soup. Bamboo sheaths decorated with gold foil are used in the hassun, and Turkish delight made with mocha rice flour and steamed awabi are made to resemble rice dumplings. The proprietress makes the meal even more delightful.
